Dr Michael Rotholz

Dr Mike was born and raised in Montreal Quebec. The son of an optometrist & a social worker, Dr Mike combines the best qualities and skills of both his parents. His father began practicing optometry in 1965 in Montreal and Dr Mike grew up around eye care and patient care his whole life. After graduating with great distinction with a bachelors degree in anatomical sciences from McGill University, he spent 2 years working with intellectually handicapped adults in both Toronto & Montreal. He then went on to receive his degree in optometry, graduating Beta Sigma Kappa from The New England College of Optometry in Boston in 1998. For the last 12 years, Dr Mike has become known for practicing his unique brand of comprehensive, individualized eye care in the mid- & down-town Toronto area. In addition to patient care, Dr Mike has also served as a clinical investigator on several contact lens and contact lens solution studies. He has also delivered talks on contact lenses, dry eye treatment and practice management to optometrists and other health care professionals.

STAFF

LEAH CAMPBELL has been working with me for almost 2 years now. She is my chief of staff and, in addition to reception, is responsible for running our contact lens department. Leah’s way with people, professionalism, attention to detail, and strong work ethic, make her an indispensable part of my practice. She is one of the friendly voices you hear when you call and one of the friendly faces that greets you when you come in for a visit.

DAVID KO joined us soon after we opened to run our spectacle dispensary. David brings with him a remarkable amount of experience, knowledge, and expertise in the optical industry. He has tremendous patience & unparalleled customer service skills & a vast knowledge of the latest in lens designs and materials, which have garnered him much praise from my patients. His sense of style trends and fashion combined with his understanding of new lens technology enables him to help patients select the perfect frames. David takes the time to listen to patients’ needs and to get a sense of their personal style when helping each one choose their glasses.

LIA MARINOIU (yes, I have 2 staff named Leah/Lia) has been the latest addition to the team. Despite her youth, she has a level of professionalism, maturity and work ethic that is well beyond her years. Lia is my optometric assistant and does double duty at reception. She is the other friendly voice on the phone and friendly face that greets you.
