Cataract Surgery Is Better Than Ever

A Lens That Restores A Full Range of Vision

As you age your full range of vision naturally declines and you gradually lose the ability to focus on objects held at normal reading distance. This is known as presbyopia. The ACRYSOF® ReSTOR® IOL – a breakthrough in lens technology – provides a broad range of focused vision that helps patients perform many routine activities without glasses. Through its unique design the ACRYSOF® ReSTOR® lens provides the ability to see up close for activities like reading and at a distance for activities like driving. In the FDA clinical study 80% of patients receiving the ACRYSOF® ReSTOR® IOL were able to perform daily tasks without wearing glasses compared to 8% of non-ReSTOR patients.
