Dr. Archie Chung's interest in Optometry was initiated when he got his first pair of glasses in Grade 3! The experience of his new found "vision" at this young age fueled his desire to help others see. After almost 30 years of practice, Dr. Chung is still passionate about helping his patients. Our clinics are equipped with the latest technology to provide the most up to date vision care, tailored to individual needs of patients, from specialty eye wear, contact lenses, refractive surgery and medical care.

Dr. Linda Tse was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Alberta at the age of 7. Growing up in a very Canadian society in the 1970s raised her interests in health care. At a young age, Dr. Tse would accompany her mother to medical appointments to act as the translator and realized how important it is to be able to communicate with your health care provider in your native language. Serving the diverse multicultural community in Toronto for the past 26 years has been very satisfying for Dr. Tse. She takes great pride in educating her patients on choices in vision correction through the use of spectacles, contact lenses and refractive surgery; as well as improving eye and general health through nutritional supplementation.

Dr. Rick Chan graduated from the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo where he earned his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree. He has been a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario since 1989. He completed his Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents certification at the College of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2010. He has been an associate with Dr. Archie Chung and Dr. Linda Tse’s optometry practice since 1990. Currently, he provides primary eye care at both the Eaton Centre and Broadview Avenue clinics.

Dr. Fong developed a passion for health care when he volunteered his time during high school at Bridgepoint health hospital and during university at Grand River Hospital. He realized while volunteering at these hospitals that prevention is the most important aspect of health care so he decided to pursue primary care in Optometry. Dr. Fong stresses that early detection and diagnosing of eye conditions and disease is the key to comprehensive eye care and preventative health care. He takes pride in spending time in addressing his patient's concerns and educating and counseling his patients whether it's about glasses, contact lenses, or specific ocular diseases and treatment options. He works with many local ophthalmologist in co-managed care of pre/post-operative conditions including LASIK, cataract, and retinal surgeries.

Dr. Saloumeh Abadi earned her Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo. She began her career as an associate with Dr. Archie Chung and Dr. Linda Tse where she has been providing primary eye care services to her patients here in Toronto.

Dr. Lillian Won first learned of optometry in grade 7 when her close friend was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor after having an eye exam. Her fascination with vision and health continued to grow through her studies in Neuroscience at U of T and working with Drs. Chung and Tse's Optometry team at the Eaton Centre over the weekends and summers throughout her student years. Dr. Won loves being in a profession where she can spend time with her patients and provide thorough care for their visual needs and eye health.

Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Merene Wong decided to remain in Toronto after graduation to give back to her community by providing comprehensive eye examinations to people of all ages. Growing up, she was amazed at how a pair of glasses could help her see better. Ever since, she's been very grateful to her first optometrist and wanted to help others just like her. Even before Dr. Wong became an optometrist, she would volunteer for the CNIB and for the visually impaired at the University of Waterloo. So far, helping people see better and providing the latest in eye health care has given Dr. Wong great joy.

Dr. Kimberly Lee received her Bachelor of Science degree with an Honours in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Waterloo. She then continued and received her Doctorate of Optometry degree at Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She received clinical honours during her training in Washington, California and Alaska, with emphasis in anterior segment disease. Dr. Kimberly Lee enjoys practicing all aspects of optometry and provides comprehensive eye care to patients. She enjoys skiing and other outdoor activities such as hiking, traveling and sightseeing.

Dr. Maggie Fung was inspired to become an optometrist when she first became nearsighted in high school. She realized that clear vision is often taken for granted and many do not realize that ocular conditions can slowly develop unknowingly. She finds educating patients of preventative measures and early detection important. She is also passionate about missions to provide care to those who are less fortunate abroad.

Dr. Casthoory Viswanathan’s interest in the eye care profession was sparked by a personal need for prescription glasses at a young age. Having worn glasses since the age of 9, Dr. Viswanathan discovered early on the positive effects good vision had in enhancing one’s quality of life. She is passionate about helping others and enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients. Dr. Viswanathan is determined to provide quality eye care to all of her patients by keeping them informed of the latest technological advancements, nutritional supplements and lens options that may be beneficial to their eye care needs.

As the daughter of Dr. Archie Chung and Dr. Linda Tse, Dr. Cassandra Chung has been immersed in the eye care industry her whole life. She was inspired to be an optometrist by her amazing family, but also by her interest in perception; specifically, how vision and cognition interplay to form one's experience of the world. Dr. Chung is passionate about building relationships with her patients and helping them achieve their best possible visual and ocular health. She is also a professional aerialist and actor.

Dr.Lee decided to become an optometrist after her first visit to an optometrist's office for an eye infection when she was 13. She was fascinated by the fact that such specific care can be provided for the eyes. She has a particular interest in care of pediatric and traumatic brain injury population, as well as patients with binocular vision anomalies. Her commitment and determination made her pursue an additional residency training in the U.S. where she provided care for these patients. Dr. Lee is grateful to be in a profession where she is able to not only change patients' visual function, but also positively affect their quality of life and future life choices by providing the proper vision care.
