Dr. Michelle McKenzie

Dr. Michelle McKenzie

 Dr. Michelle McKenzie graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degree in 1992. She completed an internship at the OMNI Vision Centre in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1994, she co-founded the Bolton Optometry Clinic. Dr McKenzie is a member of the Ontario College of Optometry, the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Ocular Nutrition Society.

Dr. McKenzie has a keen in interest great vision and healthy eyes at all ages. She enjoys fitting contact lenses, especially multifocal contact lenses and specialty contact lenses for the correction of astigmatism.  Dr. McKenzie believes there is a strong link between good nutrition and healthy eyes.

Dr. McKenzie also enjoys family, music, gardening and yoga.

 

Dr. Vince.Panzica,O.DDr.Vince Panzica

Dr. Panzica graduated from the University of Waterloo with Honours Bachelor of Science in 1985 and Doctor of Optometry in 1990. Dr. Panzica is an associate of The Laser Centre (TLC), the Bochner Institute and provides laser vision correction counseling and co-management services. He is also an active member of the College of Optometry and the Ontario Association of Optometrists.

Dr. Panzica’s close ties with the Italian community and his fluency with the language have proven indispensable at the Bolton Optometry Clinic.

In 1994, Dr. Panzica co-founded the Bolton Optometry Clinic. In the years since, Dr. Panzica has been an active member of local sports organizations and church groups.

Dr. Panzica believes that good eye health is critical to high-quality vision and that communication is critical in a thorough eye examination.

 

Dr. Virginia Donati

Dr. Donati has been practicing optometry in Peel since her residency in 2005. She was born and raised in Brampton and is thrilled to be serving the community. After high school, she attended the University of Waterloo when she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She then headed to Philadelphia when she studied at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

 

Dr. Virginia Donati

During her training, Dr. Donati received instruction in the latest in eye health and eye disease, refractive conditions, and children's vision. During her training, she interned at several outstanding optometric and ophthalmologic clinics. She has authored and co-authored two articles in major optometric publications, one of which earned her the Award in Clinical Ethics form the American Schools and Colleges of Optometry.

Dr. Donati has a keen interest in contact lens, and enjoys fitting soft and rigid lenses for both routine refractive and challenging vision conditions such as myopia (shortsighted), hyperopia (farsighted), astigmatism, keratoconus, and presbyopia (bifocals).

 Franca

FrancaFranca is another new addition to the team at the Bolton Optometry Clinic.  Not only does Franca bring several years of experience from other Optometry offices, she is fluent in Italian.  Franca is our business manager and she orchestrates many of the behind the scenes miracles that keep the Bolton Optometry Clinic running smoothly. 

  

  

  

 

KimDr. Kim

Kim was raised in Kincardine, Ontario, a small town on the shore of Lake Huron. Before joining the team, Kim worked in a group home for Community Living for 12 years and did some Retail Management. Kim has always enjoyed serving her community no matter where her home is. Kim started her employment at Bolton Optometry Clinic in September 2007. She started working as the receptionist, but with training and leadership, she now performs all the pre-exam testing. Kim’s role in the clinic is to obtain and record patient’s preliminary case history. She prepares the patients for their vision examination by measuring for near and far acuity, peripheral vision, and retinal imaging. Kim’s job enables the optometrists to devote their time to patient care.

Connie

Dr. Connie Connie joined the Bolton Optometry Clinic in October 2008, and brings with her 10 years of customer service experience in the retail industry. Connie wears many hats in the office. She is likely the person you talk to about contact lenses and you will also find her in the frame gallery or in the pre-exam testing room. Connie loves to joke around with all the patients but in addition to making our patients laugh and feel comfortable, her main objective is to ensure every patient receives the highest standard of care.

 

 

 

Lorella

Dr. LorellaDepending on the day, Lorella can be found in many different areas of the office. She may be giving her expert advice in the frame gallery. You may find her at the front desk answering our patient’s calls and booking appointments. It is even possible for Lorella to be the person to perform your Optomap retinal scan. Lorella has been at the Bolton Optometry Clinic since 2006 and her experience at our office makes her a great asset. Lorella loves nothing more than meeting and welcoming all the interesting patients from in and around the ”Great Bolton Area”

 

Rosella

Rosella  Rosella joined the Bolton Optometry Clinic in November 2011. She can be found at the reception desk or in the frame gallery. Working at the Bolton Optometry Clinic allows her to meet lots of new people and expand her knowledge of the optical world while working alongside the doctors. Rosella has a gentile way with people and is ready to answer all of your questions.

 

 

 

 

Laura

LauraLaura recently joined the Bolton Optometry Clinic. She was born and raised in Bolton and she belongs to a big family. She is very excited to work at the front desk where she is able to meet new friends. Laura’s goal is to ensure that every patient has the best customer service.
